Chuck Golinvaux

"Fearless Leader and Visionary"

Chuck hails originally from Dubuque IA. One of 11 children, (7 sisters!) Chuck learned early on the value of a hard day's work. His first job at 9 years old was as a newspaper carrier for the Des Moines Register and later on the Telegraph-Herald. From there he progressed to busboy at local downtown eateries. During college at the University of Iowa, he played rugby and labored at a local factory that made armrests for new Chevrolet pickups.

After a long and productive career in the retail automotive industry, Chuck decided in 2000 he needed a change to an industry that possessed a little more of a "fun factor". That led him to Bozeman MT, and eventually to Spearfish SD, where he was a minority partner in a Honda®-Yamaha-KYMCO-Arctic Cat dealership. When the decision was made to sell that dealership, Chuck agreed to stay on to help with the transition. When he left that dealership, Chuck decided to look for a new adventure in a milder climate.

In 2013, Chuck purchased HyMark Motorsports (now Strictly Powersports) with the intent to expand the facility and add Indian Motorcycle®. Indian was added at the end of 2015, and a building expansion was started in August of 2017. In early 2018, Honda was added to the Strictly Powersports line-up. As 2018 drew to a close, the new 36,000 sq. ft. facility was completed, and HyMark started 2019 as the all-new Strictly Powersports. Not finished growing, Strictly Powersports added Can-Am products to the line-up in early 2021, and Strictly is now the pre-eminent dealership in Southern Colorado

Chuck is the proud father of one son, 5 daughters and a step-son, and he is working hard to spend more time with his children.

Interesting facts:

Chuck refereed college basketball until retiring just prior to the 2021 season, and unknown to most, he was a pretty good French horn player as a child. Chuck also spent a night in jail without having been arrested or suspected of any criminal activity (you will have to ask him about that!)
