• Engine: The power plant is a 900cc Rotax ACE (Advanced Combustion Efficiency) Turbocharged triple-cylinder engine that produces 200 hp. It uses an integrated intercooler and a high-performance air filter.
• Chassis and suspension: The DS Turbo RR is built on a lightweight, dual-phase 980 steel chassis for strength and durability. It has arched double A-arm front suspension and a 4-link Torsional Trailing-arm X (TTX) rear suspension, both providing 20 inches of travel.
• Shocks: The suspension uses SHOWA HPG 2.5 piggyback shocks with dual-speed compression and dual-rate spring adjustments.
• Drivetrain: The vehicle features a pDrive primary and Quick Response System X (QRS-X) CVT with high airflow. The drive train includes a lockable front differential with Smart-Lok™ technology, offering True 2WD, 4WD with front differential lock, 4WD TRAIL ACTIV, and 4WD TRAIL modes.
• Steering: A high-torque Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS) system provides responsive handling.

• 2026 Can-Am Maverick X3 X DS Turbo RR with Smart-Shox: Features advanced Smart-Shox Technology on the FOX 2.5 PODIUM Piggyback shocks, which provides dynamic damping adjustment. This variant uses a smaller 4.5-inch digital display instead of the 10.25-inch touchscreen.
• 2026 Can-Am Maverick X3 X DS Turbo RR: The base X DS Turbo RR version features a 10.25-inch touchscreen and comes in Triple Black and Dusty Navy color options.
